Since the 1940s, the Southwest Livestock Show has been a proud Iron County tradition—bringing families, friends, and neighbors together to support youth, celebrate agriculture, and build a stronger community. For over 75 years, it has shaped young lives, fostered personal growth, and created lasting connections both in and out of the arena.

The show’s mission is to provide a meaningful space where youth can learn essential life skills—discipline, patience, goal-setting, and teamwork—qualities that prepare them for success in the workforce and in life. Through project planning and hands-on experience, they also develop time management, leadership, and a strong work ethic, all while forming lifelong friendships.

Each project is more than an event—it’s an adventure that opens doors to new opportunities, supported by a community that cares.
